No. Your toll free fax number is yours and will not be shared with any one else. The same is true for our virtual local fax numbers.

Can I use my existing toll free number?
Yes, we can transfer your existing toll-free number to our system. We will simply have you fill out a RespOrg form with your personal information, and we will take care of the rest. This is normally a 7-10 day process. In the meantime, we will give you a temporary number where you can begin to configure your system. When your number is transferred, it will simply replace the temporary number with all of the settings you've already configured.

Yes. You can request a particular number when signing up. We call this a vanity number. Vanity numbers have a one-time setup fee of $30.

You will be able to see if the vanity number you are looking for is available using the Vanity Search Tool. Activation of a vanity number takes 24-48 hours. You will be issued a temporary toll free number until the vanity number is active.

What happens to my number if you go out of business?
We are the Responsible Organization (RespOrg) for toll free numbers provided and are bound by FCC and SMS/800 (800 Service Management System) regulations. If our company were to go out of business you would be notified by us. At that time you would have the ability to choose where you would like to transfer your toll free number. If you do not reply to the notification that is sent by us regarding your toll free number another RespOrg may choose to become the provider of your toll free number. This does not mean that you lose the number, it simply means that another RespOrg could start billing you for the use of the toll free number. At any point you can contact the RespOrg that is maintaining your toll free number and choose to move it to another provider.

Can I receive faxes from outside the U.S. and Canada?
Yes, but it may require adding a virtual local number to your account. While toll-free numbers can only be directly dialed from with the U.S. and Canada, local U.S. telephone numbers can be accessed in most countries around the world. With our virtual local number service, you can add a local number in select area codes around the country. A virtual local number does not have to be in the same area code as you.
